does gun control break the 2nd amendment??

just curious since the 2nd amendment is the right to bear arms and im confused on the situation thanks for the helping me understand itdoes gun control break the 2nd amendment??
That amendment is old-fashioned and out-dated. As far as I'm concerned that rule is allowed to be bent. does gun control break the 2nd amendment??
Yes, how am I supposed to overthrow an oppressive government if I don't have any weapons?
No. Rights aren't absolute.
No, in the same way that libel and slander laws do not break the first amendment.
No, it does not. The guns available to civilians can be limited without infringing upon the right.

libel??
No, in the same way that libel and slander laws do not break the first amendment.
You're a big fat noob!Let's hear it for libel 8).Please don't mod me  I was just kidding about all that
libel??
Libel is the act of purposefully writing something false about someone else with the intention of damaging that person's character.
Possibly but the 2nd Amendment needs amended. Muskets were a little less dangerous for civilian use than assault rifles.

oh cool thanks for clearing that up for me :)
With all the other amendments that are broken, gun control should hardly be worth mentioning.
The constitution was made to be mallable, as the fouding fathers recognized the natural change that occurs in societies and the need for laws to change with them. If you took a very basic analysis of the Second Amendment restricting a personal right to bear nuclear arms is technically unconstitutional, but since nuclear arms didn't exist back then those who wrote the Second Amendment couldn't have predicted their impact on society and therefore the Second Amendment cannot be turned to in such a manner.
The Amendment is pretty damn old and out-dated. It make perfect sense back then to have but now I think they should recosinder it

Arms are not just guns but really all fire arms and explosives can be classified as this.. I am quite sure every one is happy that people can not buy highyield explosives.
