Grenade

I have a quick OT question, if you pull the pin in a grenade and then replace the pin will it not go off or will it continue to count down and explode, i simply ask because this has turned into an office debate. So Boom or no Boom? Thanks :)Grenade
Didn't you think to Google it? Grenade
which is what we did along with going on how stuff works, some people just dont want to learn so i need the voice of the people/ someone who has handled a grenade. I also read it depends on the grenade so i just wanted a census dont jump down me throat.
it will go off in 3-5 seconds with most
I'm sure there are different kinds but as I understand it in general it isn't going to go off until you pull the pin AND let go of the lever. So you can put it back provided the safety lever hasn't been released.
Here is what you want
Once you pull the pin, a chain reaction of chemical will occur, and can not be stop, so forget about putting the pin back in and throw the dam thing LOL
It would appear the consensus is this should have been googled first ;)
[QUOTE=''duxup'']I'm sure there are different kinds but as I understand it in general it isn't going to go off until you pull the pin AND let go of the lever. The pin is only a pin and it can be replaced. But if you try to put the pin back AFTER the grenade is thrown then I assure you that you will die.

Edit: And yeah, it should have been googled! >.>
