The US would win easily, it wouldn't even be a challenge(assuming no one else gets involved).
US has nuclear bombs 1000x the power of those used against Japan, Canada has a $1000 army, Britain has some small missiles.
These threads are pointless, lets worry about the real threat instead!

Wow, Canadian history books tell it wayy differently. Apparently Britain had much less forces but completely outsmarted the Americans. In the end US and Britain did sign a treaty or whatever saying the no one won, but it definitely seemed like Britain kicked ass.

James Madison, who was the president at the time, actually led a small group of soldiers out on to the battlefield and Madison was forced to retreat. The War of 1812 was a real embarrassment for the U.S. The only bright spot was the Battle of New Orleans, but we won that after the war was already ended.
Well seeing as the US could wipe the entire land mass that is Britain out with minimum effort.. I think the US would win. plus the British Navy is no longer what it use to be, America has the best navy and for an Island like Britain that is a big problem.
