School is ridiculously easy 0_o

When I was in highschool, all I would hear about was how hard college is, how teachers won't take crap anymore, how you write 50 page papers every week etc..

Now I'm not a smarty pants or anything, I simply just do what's required -- so here's the breakdown of my spring semester of college:

16 credit hours (5 coursess):

Introductory course to Java programming
Speech communications
Intermediate Japanese
PreCalc (trig)
Asian History (1600s+)

Average of 2 hours a week of homework/studying

= Straight 'B'sSure there was a few nights where I had to write a paper in a night, or cram for a test -- but that is the honest average. Will it get harder as I progress to harder ****s and my major? Definately. Is it unbearable? Please...:roll:Now that I know my limits and requirements, I'll be sure to get straight 'A's next year.I never understood why I so many people make such a big deal about all the ''work'' they put into their education. It's essentially doing whatever mundane BS the teacher deems necessary.School is ridiculously easy 0_o
go into sciences if you want a guaranteed steady job. trust me it's no picnic there.School is ridiculously easy 0_o
I'm a junior in High School and I get straight As. Those classes seem rediculously easy. Stop bragging, you don't apply yourself. You obviously don't value education as much as other people. Get over yourself.
It's not a bad thing that you think school is easy.
Hahaha...you're taking precalc for one, what do you expect? :
|Asian history and intermediate Japanese? I do hope you're not some silly little anime fan who thinks being able to understand anime and japanese rpg's without subtitles is cool/worth it?

No offence, just.. I laugh at people who are like that (though i'm not saying you are, just.. the courses you're taking...)

You're only in trig. Just wait till Calc 2/3, differential equations if you're in a math/science field.
When you consider how many people graduate college you shoulden't expect it to be that hard.. go into something math or science based if everything is so easy. :D

Doesn't only about 15% of the US population have a college degree?
i'm sorry but those courses are pretty laughable

what school do you go to if you don't mind me asking?
[QUOTE=''GenTom'']Asian history and intermediate Japanese? I do hope you're not some silly little anime fan who thinks being able to understand anime and japanese rpg's without subtitles is cool/worth it?

Asian History goes towards my minor in Japanese. Please don't be so quick to judge, while most people who take japanese are indeed socially inept otaku nerds, i view myself as pretty normal.

and omg i dont watch anime! crazy i know!

i just happened to be very interested in japanese culture (which is because i took it in highschool).

do they not give lectures on that level or something?

Agreed. Also, tell us what you want to be? There are two Asian Study courses in your statement, how does this equate to your future job?
I am a 10th grader in High School and am taking pre-calc next year.......
I thought college was pretty easy, then I went to Med School.

You just need the mind for it.

ima freshman so i wouldnt be jumping into high level courses now would i?

i go to Northern Illinois University. I'm not so much bragging as I am simply trying to show people that jumping into college isn't such a big step.

i also clearly stated that it was going to harder as i progress.

Math was a breeze for me when I was young and I placed in a math competition during high school, but I'm working for my B in Calc 2.
