SF Bay Area Video Gamers Meetup

Hi fellow video gamers! Do you play video games online but have never met your game buddies in real life? Want to make friends who are passionate about games? Want to discuss the upcoming hot releases, game strategies and cheats, and new demos? Want to hear some word-of-mouth before buying a new game? If you answer yes to any of the above, then this group is right for you!



I am personally an avid gamer and found that currently the Bay Area lacks real life gatherings for gamers on a consumer level. So far, I have found a few groups but they usually focus only on 1 game like WOW. These are my ideas - this group is in its infancy stage so your ideas are always welcome!



- Regular Happy Hour/Dinner/Pot Luck/BBQ gatherings

- Exchange PS3/XBOX360/Wii/Steam gamer IDs to play online with people you have already met in real life

- Rock Band/Guitar Hero house parties

- All genres (RTS, RPG, Action, FPS, Sim, etc.) and levels (hardcore, casual, MMO, etc.)

- All platforms (PC, PS3, XBOX360, Wii, NDS, PSP, iPhone, etc.)

Yeh, this. I dont feel like meeting other gamers in the Bay Area.
